Summary

Discrimination and segregation affected mainly people in the south. It was about the whites not liking the blacks and vise versa. There were racial groups such as the Klu Klux Klan also known as the “K.K.K.” The segregation and discrimination didn’t just effect the blacks and whites it also effect Jews, Gays and pretty much anyone who wasn’t the “superior” race, which is also seen as a prodestant white person. everythimg was segragated. from their drinking fountains to theyre restrooms a and even theyre churches were segragated. in the court systems the jury consisted of all white males. no blacks. the whites felt as if they were better then the blacks, its not like this anymore but theyre is still some racisim around.

Why Should We Care??

People today think that our world should be segregated, some do not. Today we pay close attention to segregation because it was a part of our history that wasn't good and needed to be fixed. Even though most of the segregation in our world today is gone some people still think that we should have a segregated world. Black people today can now be boxers, baseball players, and track athletes. In the past this was not possible.
